About us

I'm Yanis, a young French of 28 years old. For the past six years, I've worked as an automotive mechatronical engineer, focusing on ensuring the quality of after-sales for a truck brand.

Since my childhood, I've harbored a fascination for my parents' jewels and gems, coupled with a passion for travel and museum visits. During my recent holiday in Malaysia, I had a wonderful encounter with a gemologist and jeweler who passionately shared their knowledge for hours, reigniting my interest in the field.

Following this meeting, I independently delved into learning more, immersing myself in books such as "Gemstones of the World" by Walter Schumann and "Jewelry & Gems" by Antoinette Matlins and AC Bonanno. In September 2022, I commenced a gemologist diploma program in Paris, completing it successfully in March 2023.

Continuing my education, I now travel to some of the world's premier gemstone markets, eagerly sharing my experiences with others. My ultimate goal is to establish my own business, driven by my passion for gemology and lapidary, ensuring a continuous journey of learning.
